On Friday January 31st, 2020 at 0457 hours, Franklin Twp. Fire District #3 was dispatched to 840 Hamilton Street, for a reported Ambulance that crashed into a house, involving downed wires.
Car 273 established command of the incident, which was quickly turned over to Car 27. A/C 27 checked the building to ensure there were no occupants inside and no fire/smoke issues inside the structure. PSEG was requested to the scene to secure the power, along with the building department from Franklin Twp. to ensure the building was structurally safe.
Squad 27 established a safe area around the incident, provided lighting for the scene and deployed a 1 inch and 3/4 hose-line to protect the structure that was affected.
Additional units on scene were Car 274, Engine 27, Car 25, Car 252, Rescue 25. The scene was turned over to Franklin PD and remains under investigation at this time.
