On Sunday November 5th, 2017 Fire District #3 held its yearly drill at the Middlesex County Fire Academy. Each year, it has been our tradition to have one day reserved at the academy for a day dedicated to different types of “rolling responses” we may encounter.
Throughout the day, Fire Companies responded from make shift Firehouses to Activated Fire Alarms, Simulated Microwave and Kitchen Fires and Structural Fires in both High Rise and Residential Buildings. The training provided a great deal of positive expierence for the firefighters and allowed multiple companies to work together.
In attendence were Fire Companies from East Franklin Fire Department, Community Fire Department, Finderne Fire Department and Somerset Fire and Rescue. More than 70 Firefighters attended the training between the companies. Thank you to the Instructors at MCFA and to Training Officer Craig Miller for putting this together.
