On Sunday December 11th, 2016 Fire District #3 held it’s monthly District Drill at the Middlesex County Fire Academy in Sayreville. During this time, the Firefighters did a variety of rolling responses to the different style burn buildings at the Academy, including a Taxpayer, High-Rise and Residential Structure. This was a day where the Junior Officers had a chance to be the Incident Commander of a variety of incident types, including Activated Fire Alarms, CO Alarms, Structure Fires in both High Rise and Residential Buildings. Mutual Aid Companies who attended the drill were Finderne, Somerset and Elizabeth Avenue Fire Departments. A lot was learned by all who attended and it was an excellent learning expierence for the Junior Officers of the Company. Thank you to Captain Miller and the Instructors of the MCFA for putting this together and allowing us to continue to better ourselves on your training grounds. Thank you to Princeton and Bound Brook Fire Departments for covering our Fire District while everyone trained.
